bought another two of these yesterday. basically there are anthologies of noir/hardboiled crime set in a geographic region or city; most of the stories are new but there are some older stories added in some of the collections. so far i have picked up:
London Noir Paris Noir Istanbul Noir Rome Noir Moscow Noir Phoenix Noir Brooklyn Noir (this was the first one which started it all!) Brooklyn Noir 2 DC Noir Manhatten Noir Indian Country Noir(the only one i have set in moe than one area) Twin City Noir Lone Star Noir Boston Noir Queens Noir Birmingham Noir Mexico City Noir Havana Noir Bronx Noir Portland Noir San Diego Noir Pittsburgh Noir
and i intend to add more as soon as i can!!

Noticed today that Cheltenham Waterstones have got a few in. Boston, Copenhagen, Moscow and Lone Star.
Might try one when next in funds.

nearly finished Boston and it's good, Lone Star was great. Moscow is a bit hit and miss but overall it's decent and I haven't got copenhagen...yet!!

finally managed to get 'birmingham noir' editted by joel lane. not an akashic BUT is part of the canon as technically neither London nor Paris was Akashic noir either (both serpents tail) and B'ham is published by Tindal Street Press (with support from 'Travel B'ham' and B'ham City Council). i'll post thoughts once read but am still engrossed in 'concrete grove'

quite suprised, when reading B'ham noir, with how many of the authors i know from their horror work - joel lane, nicholas royle, paul finch, mike chinn and a couple of others that look familiar. a really good collection so far.

it was 'Havana Noir' (which i have just started) not 'Haiti Noir' i got! finished 'Mexico City...' and was, to be honest, underwhelmed by the thin volume (i reckon it it a third-half less than the other volumes), the first volume I have been disappointed by in the series.

enjoyed 'Portland Noir' really got a feel for the city from it and great to see a 'graphic' (comic) story in there.
Just picked up 'San Diego Noir' from Skoob for a fiver, they're coming up trumps for me recently
