Finished this last night and thought it was brilliant, it has actually restored my faith in small press anthologies with a very high caliber of story (even the ones I wasn't really feeling were very well written) and a distinct lack of typos (something which seems to be more and more prevelant with each small press book I buy, okay so I counted at least three but still better than the dozen plus in several other books i've read recently).
My favourite stories were Craig Herbertson's 'The Iron Cross', David A Riley's 'Old Grudge Ender' and Reggie Oliver's 'What shall we do about Barker'. Closely followed by Christenings Can Be Dangerous – John Llewellyn Probert, The Quixote Candidate – Rhys Hughes, The Tip Run – Johnny Mains and Dementia – Charlie Higson.
From reading this there are at least two author collections I'll have to pick up and should there be another Screaming Book of... I'll be grabbing it.
