My short story collection Skewered will be appearing in 2014 from crime wave press - includes an unpublished novella and short plus four previously published shorts. Excited isn't the word for how I'm feeling about this :-)

- well, the first draft of my horror western "Mulligan's Idol" was finished yesterday. comes in at just over 23,000 but there are some extra bits to be added in the redraft so I envisage it being about 27,000 when complete.
- my story "Going South to Meet the Devil" has been accepted for Darkest Minds
- my collection "Skewered and other London cruelties" is on course for a release later this month!
- got about half a dozen shorts on the go, most of them featuring series characters or characters (Charlie Bars, Tomahawk Val, William Gatlin) and once this current batch is put to bed I hope to be able to concentrate on a few straight up horror shorts.
Plus I have an idea for a collection of 'sort of' linked horror stories.
So 2014 has got off to a busy start! :-)

Congrats on the Darkest Minds acceptance -it's a cracking story and if it's indicative of the quality of "Mulligan's Idol" I can't wait to read that as well. Great news on the collection too.

Woah, putting us all to shame! Can't wait for Skewered. You should think about revamping your site ahead of release as it's likely to enjoy increased traffic.
