This is great. I was going through my parents bookshelf and found a 1911 edition of Phantom Of The Opera. It's by the Bobbs-Merrill Company of New York, printed in Indianapolis. It has color illustrations..
It turns out to be the first US edition. I looked up the book. It's worth 1200-1500$ depending on condition.
I'm not going to sell it. It's just too cool.
I also found a 1903 edition collecting the short stories of Guy De Maupassant. Surprisingly, It's not that valuable.
