great interview - really liked the comments regarding most horror fiction just not being that scary - very true

I did mean to soften that comment by adding that it's very difficult to write scary stuff and that my own fiction doesn't always hit the mark in this respect but I forgot. Oops.

haha - recently asked someone to read three of my shorts - she said she didn't really get one of the them, the second was really well written and the third was disturbing - guess which comment i was happiest with! ;O)

The one she didn't get ... because it was about how you would gruesomely murder the next person who didn't understand one of your stories.
