I felt I needed a bit of added impetus but didn't want to make them too unmanageable. I settled on the following:-
1) Submit at least one NEW short story each month to an anthology or magazine.
2) Place a story and receive monetary reward.
3) Write at least 500 words per day on any project.
4) Increase the first draft of the novel by at least 2000 words by the Sunday of each week.
5) Complete at least one review each week.

Good goals, Ross. I work pretty much the same way, minus the reviews. My added rule is no more than four projects at once from now on, though.

I don't really have short stories in me anymore. My goals are to win all three stagings of NanoWrimo, get at least a Pass 3 on my OU course, and polish all my first drafts into publishable condition.

I decided to keep my two OU courses seperate. They are mandatory requirements rather than goals.
I had to put reviews on there as I tend to let them stockpile!

I'd love to get one acceptance. I've copped 4 rejections this year, and learned that an anthology I had a story accepted back in 2011 has been cancelled, and that another anthology I received an acceptance for has also fallen over. Plus I got knocked back on my proposal for the Abaddon novella line (but I didn't really expect that to go anywhere given the volume of submissions).
One. Just one acceptance, please!

I couldn't remember what I said in January until I looked just now.
I found out this afternoon that I achieved my expected OU result (only missed the grade above by 2 and a half marks), and I'm within a couple of days of being 2 for 2 on the Nanowrimos this year (albeit only chasing 30K this time around).
What else did I say? Oh, editing and submitting; yeah, I've got a couple of things out there, and one or two more almost ready to go.
Plus I've got myself back in print for the first time in over two years, which I never mentioned at the start of the year.
So yeah, it looks like I'll be ticking all the boxes, but it still doesn't quite feel like a breakthrough. Next year I'll have to set my sights higher - nothing but published novels or novellas will do.

So how did we all do? I managed to equal the most stories I've had published in a year but not exceed it. With the collection accepted for next year I'm going to have a serious think about what exactly I'm going to aim for next year.

Yeah that side of things was pleasing. Finishing less than a handful of stories less so.
