This airline is offering super fares and motel to London ($700 for tickets and six nights in a motel) but only in Feb. I'm thinking about it, for a needed get-away. I've got to pay for the tickets by the end of this month. I would love to schedule a get-together for all of us. It would be in London, or I would have to book a bus.
Ross Anthony Ben Jason All...
Let me know.
Ben,
I want to use the long story you sent me for a renewed HSSOTM. Let me know ASAP.

If you come all that way, then I'm sure I could manage the 77 miles from here to London. We could make it the anthology launch party.

How about Glastonbury??? I would much rather go there. It would only be $200 more. I can't believe the deals in Feb., $900 for six nights in Glastonbury including round trip airfare to Bristol.
Let's get specific, Feb 16-22 would be a good week for me. We could meet in Bristol or Glastonbury. Would Glastonbury be kind of closer??
I also looked into Blackpoole. I bet I could get enough ghost photos there to last a year! Blackpoole is actually $100 cheaper for the week. I would fly into Manchester. I'm afraid Blackpoole would be kind of a cold, empty, slightly dangerous place. Carny with a tinge of heroin. That sounds perfect, I know, but I think Glastonbury would be more my speed. I can dig a eccentric, Pagan villiage for a week. I see enough hoods.
I looked ito Whitby, but prices are higher and transportation could be iffy. I'm not going to rent a car. If I want a side-trip, I'll look into busses. I would really like to see Stonehenge. I wonder if I could get there from Glastonbury and back in one day?
I can look into other dates, but Febuary has the deals.
OK Feb. 16-22 Glastonbury (Weekend would be Fri. 18, Sat 19) How would that be. Let's decide quick, I need to book by Tuesday, if possible. Would another place be better, another weekend??? Let me know.
I think I'll go even if we can't get together. I still have a regular paycheck coming and I need a vacation. $900 for a week in Glastonbury, including airfare! I don't know....

The first seven words of the visit Glastonbury website are "Glastonbury can be hard to get to". It has no train station of its own and is a 90 minute bus ride from the nearest major station at Bristol Temple Meads. But I could manage that.
My sister's birthday is Feb 19th, so if I spend Friday in Glasto I'd have to get away early on the Saturday morning.
Stonehenge is much nearer me. If you go there I'll definitely try to come with.
