The latest issue should be arriving soon, containing some great fiction as well as the review of a certain anthology

Got this yesterday. Didn't have much reading time so just read the opinion pieces and Child by Simon Kurt Unsworth so far. This was a wonderfully written piece that generated quite an emotional response.

Best issue since I started my sub with number 8. Couldn't fault any of the stories. The Unsworth just edged out the Littlewood as my favourite of the issue but enjoyed all the stories. Brilliant stuff.

The Unsworth was definitely the best - powerful stuff. Really liked The Salt of Eliza too.
The Littlewood was very good and I enjoyed Tim Lees story though there were hints as to the true nature of the girl early on which gave away the fact that she was - well, what she was.
Couldn't get away with the Pirie story - too much of a fable and the images of Morton on his white stallion and the guff he comes out with were just a wee bit OTT for me.
