Not sure if anyone has read this one, by British Author Adam Nevill, but I picked it up in the airport whilst on holiday and was pretty impressed by it. Won't give too much away but I'd say if anyone gets the chance its certainly worth a read.

Couldn't get into it. Kind of found the main character irritating.

Which one, the girl or the bloke? I agree that the character development was lacking, but I liked his use of prose and description. Created something eerie and otherworldy quite nicely.

About a third of the way through. Was a bit slow in the beginning, but is now growing on me. Kind of similarish so far as Audrey's door, a book which I loved to bits.
