Anyone know of any horror books set in Roman or Post Roman (Dark Ages) Britain?

Honestly can't think of any though the latest instalment of Simon Bestwick's Black Mountain serial is set mainly in the Roman Occupation.

Oooooh - was that the serial he did for Spectral?
Thinking of working on something set after the last Roman troops have left but while the memories of the Empire are still rich (so earlier than Cornwell's Warlord books - but with more of a horror edge to them)

It is the Spectral serial - approaching the end now. Still can't think of any stories in that time period (Beowulf perhaps..?) so seems ripe to exploit.
