Finished this last week and thought it was brilliant. I had previously thoroughly enjoyed "The Last Plague" by Rich Hawkins and grabbed this on the strength of that. Very different although the same apocalyptic bleakness reverberates through both books (this is a novella rather than doorstop novel like plague), Black Star, Black Sun has more overt Lovecraftian themes. The story follows a man who returns home to the small village he is from in the aftermath of the disappearance of his wife and walks into an awful place where otherworlds are held just beyond the veil - but for how long?
Very interested in other peoples thoughts on this one.

^published through Amazon so shipping should be okay.
I thought it was an excellent, modern take on the "stars being right"
