'1922' Wow! Classic King, creepy revenge tale with his usual well rounded characterisation.

1922 - really liked the style, classic King, but not sure it was his most 'original' tale.
Big Driver - again i really enjoyed this one but wish there had been a bit more to it. very decent vigilante revenge though - in terms offilms a lot better than 'the brave one' but no where near 'dead man's shoes'
A Fair Extension - still not sure about this. It was nice to see it not follow the usual route of comeuppance or devil's deal trickery BUT i wanted the narrator to get his by the end! odd because normally that doesn't bother me ('villain' triumphant) but thistime it did...
still need to read the last tale but compared to 'different seasons' this misses the mark for me, i'll have to have a proper compare but i reckon 'four past midnight' was probably better as well. it is a decent collection though and there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it and King is always highly readable, some of it just seemed lacking a spark.
