google presence... he was getting many more random registrations because of that.. when you googled 'horror forum' his site popped up always on the first page.

Also i think the core group has fallen apart somewhat.. for various reasons, form people get bored or lives have suddenly got busier..etc I think it's really important for active members to post critiques and comments on posted stories.. If you lose that you lose members' interest.

If you're able to add and delete pages try another name. How about this, instead of darkmindspress.proboards.com, call the page horrorwriterscircle.proboards.com. Would that work? "Horror Writer's Circle, a forum for writers of supernatural fiction." Dark Minds Press is a cool name, but as far as the forum goes, nobody will ever find it. In one way or the other "Horror Writers," has to appear as the page title. "Forum" must quickly follow. I take it "Horror Writer's Forum" is taken. If not, get it. Otherwise, I suggest "Horror Writer's Circle." Let me check to see if "Horror Writer's Circle" is taken...hold on.

I just checked, horrorwriterscircle.proboards.comis available. I would get it and switch the forum to that. Then, we can pump the forum other places, including The Ghastly Door. Once Google picks it up, it ought to make the front page of any search for Horror Writer's Forum.
